I was hired as a full-time Security Officer, and am in the same position today, and still love my job!
When they announced Hard Rock was going to take over, I was very excited, to have a chance to work for such a big company, that has a great brand. I still work here, because it’s a fun place to work. I really enjoy interacting with customers and employees, everyone has a great story to tell, and I love listening. The company treats me well, and cant wait for the construction to start.
Aaron Bingley Slot Technician Manager
I started my career with OLG 10 years ago at Ajax Downs as a Housekeeper.
This position allowed me to speak with team members from all departments and ask questions to see where I wanted to go next. Once I completed probation, I joined the cage and coin team as a Cashier. From then, I transferred to Woodbine to gain more experience at a larger property, which then allowed me to transfer to Rideau Carleton all within the cage department. 8 years ago, I became a Slot Attendant. This allowed me to learn about Slot Operations as a whole and made me want to join the management team as a Slot Supervisor.
The announcement then came in 2018, that Hard Rock would be our new employer. I was extremely excited to be part of an international brand with unlimited opportunities. This led me to further expand my knowledge of the slot department and join the technical side as Slot Technician Supervisor. I have since been promoted to Slot Technician Manager and look forward to the next opportunity!I’m also known as the slot nerd as you can ask me where any Slot machine is and I’ll find it.
